YSA Halloween Party

Hey mama,
The week was pretty good. Our mission did reach our baptismal goal, but I don't know what we're doing to celebrate. This week we had Diana and Vincent come to church, as well as Les, but he was only there for 2nd hour.
During our lesson this week, we taught both Nube (Lee) and Les, and we scheduled all his lessons up until his baptismal date. Nube also seems to be interested in baptism, but she works on Sunday and it is her most profitable day to sell, so it may take some time for her to develop the faith to come to church.
Miracle:
Nothing crazy this week, but they had a YSA Halloween party, and a bunch of our less active YSA's came. Not only that, but they almost all came to church this week too.
Challenge:
Recently we've been struggling with languages. Here everyone is a jack-of-all-trades master of none. Elder Gray speaks Malay but half the people he speaks Malay to are from Indonesia and speak Indonesian which is close but not quite the same. I'm learning Mandarin but most people here are Cantonese speaking but speak a bit of Mandarin as well. Most of these people also speak a bit of English but not enough to fully communicate. It's kind of interesting but not being able to fully understand people has become the norm for conversations, both in English, Malay, and Mandarin.
Good news:
One of the native sister missionaries finished her mission recently and said she is down to tutor me during my language study times, she's not working at the moment, and when she heard I have a year left she said she'd have me fluent for sure😅 🙃
Love,
Elder Wardle
