Escape room at KL Sentral. We didn't get out in time:(

Tuesday

While talking to Elder Robertson, I remembered watching a member devotional for the state of California. Sister Wendy Nelson testified that President Russell M. Nelson was the Prophet of God, I felt the Spirit very powerfully, and I knew it was true.

Elder Robertson and I discussed a lot about the need to be sincere. That's when the Spirit is more easily present, not just when truth is spoken, but when it is spoken with conviction and sincerity.

Thursday

Really slacking on Journaling for the last week or so, not sure what we did today, but weekly planning was part of it lol

Today we finally had some lessons, so Elder Tarwasokono and I were able to teach together. We had a lesson with Sinram, Jasmine, and Beljedner Kaur at the same time.

In the evening, we had a lesson with Shirley about the restoration, it was short, but nice. She doesn't seem to have a lot of confidence in her gospel knowledge, but she likes to share scriptures with her family and we're gonna try to start meeting with her more often to strengthen her testimony.

We also had a lesson with Wei Jie, essentially we just finished up teaching him about commandments, and he is so ready to be baptized. Unfortunately, his first time at church in Cheras as a baptized member will also be his last. Next week he moves home for a couple weeks and then heads to Singapore for work. So, we're really hoping we can keep him in touch with missionaries and have a huge welcoming for him when he goes to church in Singapore.

Finally, we had a lesson with Josiah. Man is still a king. He really liked Moroni 10:6 and he said it helped him know that God truly created the earth. We discussed how the Spirit can be felt and Brother Cho shared his testimony of the Book of Mormon. Finally, we found he wants to learn about the purpose of life, we taught how we can learn these things from the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, and from modern-day prophets, so we'll teach the Plan of Salvation next time, but we gave him 2 Nephi 2 to read in preparation.

While praying and asking, what lack I yet, the Lord told me patience. Additionally, I need to start journaling better because I have been forgetting revelation the Lord has given me in my evening prayers by not writing it down.

Today was super packed and a really good day honestly. We started the day by going to Bukit Jalil Park for a YSA activity and it was a lot of fun. We had a scavenger hunt and took pictures of cranes, catfish, monitor lizard, monkeys, bamboo tunnels, and turtles. It was awesome, plus Cathryn and Celeste were able to come and meet a lot of the YSA's.

Later, we had a lesson with Joey and Rachel. It honestly seemed to go really well. Rachel had been doing much more scripture study and she told us it made a dramatic difference on how she was doing. She felt she was less moody and had way better luck. It was so cool that she was able to notice the blessings of increasing her prayers and scripture study. She asked for suggestions on how she could become more prepared to receive a Patriarchal Blessing, and we discussed CPR (church, prayer, read). Rachel hasn't been to church in a long time, but she seemed to really enjoy the talk we had, and I really hope she will find the strength to come to church.

In the evening, we had Wei Jie's baptism. The man was so excited and so was brother Lim (the baptizer). Wei Jie even got up and shared how he loved and appreciated us (the Elders, whom he calls his brothers). He also testified of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and how if we continue to read it, our understanding will increase, and we will come closer to God.

Today was absolutely amazing. I spent a lot of time on my knees and the Lord allowed me to feel of His Spirit and know what I should say, as I was able to perform Ji's confirmation this morning. As I acted as the voice in giving Ji the gift of the Holy Ghost, I felt the Spirit so much. I could see how touched Wei Jie was and I was so grateful the Lord had given me such a wonderful opportunity to bless him. Wei Jie has such a beautiful soul, and I love him dearly. I pray he may walk a safe and love filled path, he deserves so much. I cannot express in words the deep love I feel for him and how much I wish for his happiness. I know he will always walk uprightly before God.

After church, we were also able to give a blessing of healing to Brother Segar for his Parkinson's disease and sister Oyoke's really old friend who is struggling. It was a very Spirit filled day.

I love you all and hope your week was as amazing as mine!
