The Christ Child

大家好！ Sorry for not writing super consistently but I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and share a little bit about what has made this Christmas so special to me. This year I've had the opportunity to share the story of the Savior's birth with so many people and in so many ways. In the New Testament, we read about the birth of Jesus Christ. It is super fun to read and act it out with the kids. There is also a nativity video called the Christ Child which depicts this New Testament nativity with so much emotion, it's amazing. You can truly see from the video how great an impact the shepherds and wisemen knew Jesus Christ had on their lives and eternal salvation. The video shows the great love and appreciation they had for him, even while he was just a little boy. Watching and reading about this story, the sweetest story every told, truly brings the Spirit into a home. Additionally, I've had the opportunity to share the story from the Book of Mormon where we learn God speaks to all his children, no matter where they are. The love and peace that the Savior provides is infinite, it is available for all of us. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior. He has prepared a way for us to find peace and joy in this life and return to our Father in Heaven with our families in the life to come. If you haven't already, read the Christmas story yourself or with your families, from either the Book of Mormon or the New Testament, or watch the Christ Child video, or do all three. Each of these activities will help you experience greater peace and love this Christmas season.
