Happy New Year

I loved the wrestling videos, I've watched all of them. It really makes me want to wrestle. Unfortunately, we have not been able to meet with the wrestling family, they are just never all home, super sad.

We were supposed to have a lesson with a guy named Edgar, but he stood us up. We ended up teaching someone named Fabian at his doorstep, but he honestly did not care at all. He was like even if you're right, I don't care, I'm not going to change my life at this point.

We taught this homeless guy named Frederick, he was smoking weed the whole time and it was a little hard to breathe. I actually started coughing during our prayer 😆 but it went well. He seems to think we are very holy men and that he could never be that, but we've got another lesson next week and hopefully he'll come to understand that when we say we can overcome all things with Christ, that means he can too.

We hopefully will be having a lesson with a lady named Marie this week as well, so we'll see how that goes. She seems super nice and had been taught in the past.

We had dinner with Jesse Casey on New Year's Day. It was an amazingly flavorful, and tender tritip. Jesse is super funny. He literally remembers running into Dad at a KFC in Utah as well, back in like '02.

We were unaffected in the transfer calls which is kinda nice because we got so much food and stuff from Christmas it would've been hard to pack, plus we're comfortable here. BUT, I was honestly a little disappointed. Being unaffected is just boring. 😆 It'll be good though.
