Doing Amazing

Hey mama, Sorry this is so late, but I've been doing absolutely amazing:) I'm not sure if you already know, but I went to a place called Genting Highlands for one of these P-Days and it was really expensive lol. I got a burger for lunch while I was there and it was 40 RM! Considering the fact that my average meal is 10 RM and all I got was a burger (no fries or drink) that was crazy expensive. But, it was at Five Guys, and I actually think it may have been the greatest burger I've ever eaten in my life, though that may be because I don't get to eat too many American style burgers anymore. We stopped teaching Jasmine and her friends, but Sister Shirley is doing well. We haven't been in contact with her friend Lily at all since. Unless we can get a ride from members which there aren't a lot of, and many use public transportation, visiting most members takes about 30 min-1.5 hours of travel, and those are the close ones, so that's why we haven't been able to make it back out to see Sister Shirley. Josiah speaks mandarin pretty much exclusively, so all those lessons have been in Chinese, but he kind of disappeared out of nowhere. The little girl, Diana, isn't baptized yet, but hopefully by the end of this month she will be. Also, I do understand a small amount of Malay. Not enough to be useful, just super common words and phrases. I could probably say a simple prayer, ask someone how they're doing but that's pretty much it. We switched out Ping Pong night to a whole branch FHE. This week we didn't have tons of people, but hopefully it will begin to pick up. This week we only had 7 members, 2 nonmembers, and us. It was super fun though, and we played chair soccer, but let me tell you, American church buildings are so nice. It was really scary to play chair soccer in our church. Hitting the walls with a soccer ball has a great potential to destroy the wall, so we will probably have to do less intense activities in the future. Love ya,

Elder Jaxon Wardle
